SuperKonductor is the Brooklyn-based design collaboration of David R. Head Jr. and Jen Hazen.
Dave got his start designing punk rock records and screenprinting posters. He has gone on to work with clients like Keds, Microsoft’s Zune, Time Out Chicago, Thrill Jockey Records, and Miller Brewing Co. He has received recognition from Communication Arts, AIGA, HOW and art book publisher, Gestalten, among others. Other credits: freelance photography for Chicagoist, CD cover illustration for Chicago charity Rock For Kids, and screenprinted calendars featured on HGTV’s Design Happens.
Jen has been a writer about art, design, fashion and pop culture for years and has worked with clients like Keds, Time Out Chicago, Streng Design, LLC, BUST and Chicagoist, among others. Other credits: a piece in St. Martin’s book, Cassette From My Ex, and quotes featured in the books Girl Power: The Nineties Revolution in Music, and How Sassy Changed My Life: A Love Letter to the Greatest Teen Magazine of All Time.
